422 creates Making Space titles for Two Four Production's new lifestyle show
422 South has produced a title sequence for the new Two Four Productions series “Making Space” which follows interior design and storage guru Mel Cantor as she advises people on how to re-package their living space, often with life-changing results.
Karen Kendon designed and composited the title sequence, which utilises existing VT footage from the programme. The footage is presented in a graphics bed which mirrors the premise of the programme format in that we see chaos turn to order as Mel works her magic. Text highlights key words and stages in the process, resolving to Mel looking happy and relieved in her clean and clutter-free space. The 20” sequence was edited and treated in After Effects.
Making Space went out on Channel 4 in a 4.30pm time slot. There are 10 x 30 minute programmes in all.
