Inside King Cobra
Client: Fulcrum television
Stunning CGI showing the paralysing chemistry of one of the world's deadliest snakes, and mysterious ways of countering its venom.
London based production company Fulcrum commissioned 422 to produce an animation showing the effect of a snake bite - in fact the bite of the deadly king cobra snake - on a human body. Revealing animation shows the mechanics of the snake bite, the injection of venom and the toxic processes it triggers within the victim's body. The film also explores the discovery of 'natural' inhibitors that allow some Thai people to resist the effect of the poison.
The animated human body and snake skeleton sequences were directed by Andrew Hunter with Maya animation by David Klein
