The film sets out to analyse new data that seems to suggest a cataclysmic reason for the extinction of mammoths in North America some 10000 years ago. 422 created over 35 shots featuring live action backplates and realistic digital effects to show the dramatic events that are thought by scientists to have led to the end of the mammoths.
