A test for a Graphic novel style of animation
A test showing 2D drawn animation in the sci-fi comic book style. The brief was to come up with an animation style to reflect the sci fi illustrations that have their roots in the 1950s. Would this style work in a TV documentary to tell a real science story ?
This work by 422 artist Eduardo Schaal is is just a glimpse of what's possible using graphic novel style storytelling in animation. For other examples of Schaal's work, type Clash of the Cavemen in the search panel.
