422 creates animated titles for new Spanish TV show
422 South has designed and animated a new title sequence for Majestic TV's quirky new travel show "Kevin's Spanish Capers", to be hosted by ex Coronation Street actor Kevin Kennedy (aka Curly Watts).
Designed by Lou MacDonnell and animated by Chris Dickason, the titles pay a passing tribute to the style of Saul Bass, as we glimpse a silhouette of Kevin in a series of typical "journey" experiences en route to his holiday destinations.
The 30" titles were created using a combination of Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash and set to a funky update of a classic 60’s TV titles track.
The series is due for transmission in July 2005 and will go out on Sky.
